Interschool contest in SOS-W!

On 19th November 2015 a big event -"Autumn voyages around Europe" took place in our school.

 

Students from different schools visited us and presented information on Sweden, Czech Republic and Germany. We were French people on that day! Unfortunatelly, the team which was chosen to present Norway didn't come :( 

We had a great time - we learned a lot about countries you come from, had delicious food, sang songs, watch funny films, etc.

 

                          
 

 

 

After those presentations all of us took a big European quiz!

Our guests were very interested in our projects and Erasmus plus programme :)

Celebration of the Westphalian Peace

At the project meeting from 9th to 16th of october in Osnabrück we celebrated the Westphalian Peace. We build our own wooden peace horses, created peace-shirts and discovered the city of Osnabrück on a GPS-sightseeing-tour. The final was the official celebration of the Westphalian Peace with the mayor on a march through the city on our horses. The video is from OS1tv, thank you!

More therapeutic games from Ostrava

Hi,

we did two more therapeutic games. They are indoor too, since it is cold outside.

First one is Margareta - you need a pen and a paper for that and it was OK.

and the second one is Changing Places - some of us liked it a lot, some found it embarassing and a bit unfair.

On est tous pareils, On est tous différents

During our week Erasmus, while some of us were in Germany in Osnabrück, we thought about Tolerancy. We are the same, we are different.

Some pupils wrote down some thinkings about it, while others prefered to perform on a movie.

We are very happy to share our work:

Tous pareils, tous différents

Les caribous et les humains, c’est différent. Les caribous sont noirs mais il y a des humains noirs. On est noir ou blanc, on est différent. On peut avoir les yeux de couleurs différentes, les cheveux de couleurs différentes. On n’a pas la même taille, on peut être grand ou petit. On n’a pas le même âge.  On peut aimer, avoir des goûts différents. On peut avoir le même caractère, on peut être pareil. On peut avoir peur comme tout le monde. Au début on est toujours timide. Comme on est toujours un peu timide, on observe et on peut se dire : << Celle qui est à côté de moi a les cheveux noirs et j’ai les cheveux blonds>>.  Pourtant on est pareil, on a deux mains, deux yeux, deux pieds, deux oreilles, un nez, une bouche…  A l’école, on est tous pareils parce qu’on apprend à lire, à écrire mais on est tous différents parce qu’on n’a pas le même caractère. Au fond on est tous pareils, on est tous vivants et un jour, on mourra tous.

On est tous pareils, on est tous différents

On n’est pas tous pareils, on n’a pas les mêmes problèmes. On est tous pareils, deux yeux, deux oreilles, un nez, une bouche. Tout le monde pleure, tout le monde rit. A l’école, on est pareil, on est là pour travailler.

Quelque fois, on est timide, on ne se sent pas pareils que les autres. On peut être maladroit.

On est tous différents, on n’a pas la même peau, on n’a pas la même voix, les mêmes cheveux, les mêmes familles. On n’a pas le même nom, on ne marche pas de la même façon. Mais il ne faut pas se comparer aux autres, car ça n’apporte rien. On n’a pas le même caractère. Quelque fois, on se dispute mais on finit par se réconcilier.

Il y a des hommes, des femmes, blancs ou noirs, riches ou pauvres.

Therapeutic games in Ostrava

We finally decided on one game we would like to show you (we did it before during an anti-bullying project day) and the other game was a surprise from our teachers.

We chose the Ship activity, that helps us understand we need to cooperate in life.


And the surprise was the Classroom Cake activity: it was fine also, a bit different, we had to think about that.


We did also the activity files and we wrote feedback - it is on the Google Drive.

Election

This week there have been local elections in Norway. We worked a lot with democracy in practice. We learned about the politicians, what electoral system is and looked on the results. Pupils have seen a real election office and how the election is going on there.

We also arranged and carried out a school election. Here the pupils even try how it is to vote. Election results at school were surprisingly similar to the real result.

A good democracy with free elections is an important factor to preserve and promote peace.
