"The way out of hatred" - monday 2 mars 18.00-21.00 at Gransäterskolan

We have planned this day being a day for every one who cares about peace and understanding. During the day the students at school will meet Emerich Roth, from the former Czechoslovakia, och Mikael Spreitz and in the evening it´s open for every one to come to our school listening and discuss this important subject. We wish you all could be here but our student will tell you about this day on our blog so you all can take a small part of our interesting day. This is the invitation for the day;

Invitaition 

Welcome to a theme night with Emerich Roth, great speakers and survivors of a concentration camp in the second world war.  You will also also meet Mikael Spreitz - actor, known as the gladiator "Thor" in the "Gladiators" at TV and frequently occurring lecturers with wide community involvement.

Emerich, who experienced the Nazi atrocities during World War II, has over 30 years working with excluded young people in society. Since 1993, he has also, along with so-called former "bullies" delivered lectures in schools across the country.

In school, students get during the day listening to Emerich and Mikael and have the opportunity to ask questions, discuss and debate with them. The theme for the day as well as night is the past, but focus is on what hatred and violence did and what we together can do to stop violent tendencies right now..

What future do we want? How can we do to help young people in our neighborhood who is at risk? Emerich and Michael gives us his opinions based on their experiences.

This theme day is a part of an Erasmus + projects Gransäter School and Aspen operates right now - "Creating Peace."
